The project consisted of unwiring old actuators and removing them from the valves using a crane as they each weigh more than 600kg. Adapters were then designed to fit the new Rotork actuator to the valve. After fitting the adapters, the actuator were placed using the crane, bolted, wired, configured and commissioned.

The project consisted of replacing the existing VSDs with new ones to match the power rating of new motors installed. Modification to the PLC programming was done to accommodate the control of 4 new VSDs and rotation detectors.

Installation of Cable tray, Power cables and Instrumentation Cables.
The project consisted of promoting effective carbon post-combustion and at the same time bottom ash extraction with the ultimate target of reducing the carbon in ash levels below the threshold required for ash re-use. Automation of the new Ash Post Combustor system installed by Magaldi Group was implemented by ECS.

ECS worked with Thermax from India for the implementation, testing and commissioning of the boiler. For the auxiliary installations, ECS was responsible for the whole automation work. The automation system of the plant is based on the Siemens S7-300 PLCs with WinCC as operator interface.

This project consisted of the design and implementation of a control system for a prototype core sampler for sugar cane. The project was financed by the EU and the final client was SONY sugar. The design is based on a Schneider Twido PLC with Magelis Operator panel.

ECS has installed the energy monitoring and reporting system in all the six hotels of Constance group.
ECS provided the client with an online support which facilitates the rapid diagnostics of system problem if any and also to add new equipment to the system network. In this way a cost effective solution is provided to the client in terms of labour.

ECS did the whole installation for the Fermentation.
The distillery and evaporators include the Evaporator plant, Balance of Plant, Distillery and Alcohol tank farm. The control system is based on an ABB AC800F controller with remote IOs on profibus.

ECS supervised the installation of the whole system, also performed the testing and commissioning. Training of the operators was done during the testing and commissioning phases. A training on programming of the Schneider PLC and Magelis Operator interface was also carried out for the engineers and technicians. The boiler process loops programming were also explained to the engineers and technicians.
