ECS has worked with Alstom Australia for the design and commissioning of the automation of the boilers. All motor starters were designed with Siemens Simocode motor controller. Packages with their own Siemens PLCs such as the Water treatment Plant, Electrostatic precipitator and Sooth Blower System were connected to the main DCS via a fibre optic ring network using Siemens Scalance.
